July 23, 2026 - Arlington, Texas: SFC LLP (SFC) is proud to announce that Kim Crawford has been named CPA of the Year by the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). The award recognizes CPAs who demonstrate professional excellence, leadership, and a commitment to serving the accounting profession and their communities.
The announcement was made during the TXCPA Fort Worth Chapter’s monthly meeting last Thursday, honoring Kim’s dedication, leadership, and contributions throughout her career.
Kim’s commitment to the CPA profession is highlighted by her appointment to the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a gubernatorial appointee, serving a term from April 5, 2023, through January 31, 2029. As a Board member, she helps uphold the integrity, standards, and future of the CPA profession across Texas.
A member of the AICPA and numerous professional organizations, Kim has consistently contributed to the growth and advancement of the accounting profession. Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional achievements through her continued involvement in the community. She is a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Arlington, where she served as treasurer for 10 years and has been honored as both Rotarian of the Year in 2010 and Distinguished Rotarian of the Year in 2023. Kim currently serves as president of Women Inspiring Philanthropy, serves on the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, is a graduate of Leadership Arlington, and remains actively involved with First United Methodist Church in Arlington.
