#Adulting 2026

May 13, 2026 - Arlington, Texas: Last Thursday and Friday, the SFC LLP team had the opportunity to volunteer alongside other professionals at TXCPA Fort Worth’s #Adulting event held at the Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center in Arlington, Texas.

#Adulting gives students from Arlington Independent School District a hands-on opportunity to experience real-world financial decision-making in a fun and interactive environment. Each participant is assigned a career, salary, and family situation, then visits different booths to navigate everyday expenses and gain a better understanding of what managing life as an adult really looks like.

Our team was proud to serve as volunteers at the event booths, helping guide participants through their choices and sharing insight into budgeting, financial responsibility, and decision-making.

We love being part of initiatives like this that help prepare the next generation with practical life and financial skills.
