Ileana Esparza, CPA, has been promoted to Nonprofit Tax Manager, effective January 1, 2026. She joined the firm in 2024 as a Senior Nonprofit Tax Associate. Ileana specializes in nonprofit organizations, as well as private and charter schools. She works closely with clients to navigate complex tax and regulatory requirements, providing practical guidance and proactive solutions that support long-term compliance and organizational stability. Her expertise in preparing Forms 990, 990T, and 990EZ ensures that her clients meet federal and state filing obligations with precision and accuracy.
Ileana earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Science in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the Junior League of Fort Worth. She also serves on the board for the Fort Worth Chapter of TXCPA, where she contributes to advancing the profession and supporting the local accounting community.

Joshua Linton, EA has been promoted to Tax Manager, effective, January 1, 2026. Joshua joined the firm in 2016 and has over a decade of experience partnering with clients to navigate a wide range of tax matters. He provides clear, practical guidance and helps clients address complex challenges through thoughtful tax compliance and strategic planning.
Joshua earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a federally licensed tax practitioner (Enrolled Agent) and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA).

Miranda Watkins, EA, has been promoted to Tax Manager, effective, January 1, 2026. Miranda joined the firm as an intern in 2015 and has since built a broad and well-rounded tax background. She provides tax compliance, planning, technical research, and advisory services, with experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of returns, including individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, exempt organization, and multi-state filings.
Miranda earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a federally licensed tax practitioner (Enrolled Agent) and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA).
