We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Services Associate. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm’s internal financial processes and may also perform services for certain clients of the firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:


• Maintain accurate firm financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents in a timely manner.

• Reconcile bank statements.

• Prepare financial reports for review.

• Assist with our budgeting process.

• Assist with firm A/R collections.

Payroll Administration:

• Manage firm payroll processing.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

General Administrative Support:

• Provide general administrative support to the Executive Committee.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and payroll principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
