We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team and assist in the preparation of Form 990s for our non-profit clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Form 990 Preparation: Learn how to prepare and review Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax, for non-profit organizations. This includes gathering financial information, conducting necessary research, and ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.

Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents, to accurately complete Form 990 schedules and attachments.

Research and Compliance: Stay up-to-date with IRS regulations related to non-profit organizations and ensure that all Form 990 filings adhere to the latest tax laws and requirements.

Documentation: Maintain organized records of all tax-related documents and filings to facilitate efficient record-keeping and retrieval.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our tax professionals to seek guidance, address questions, and gain insights into the tax industry.

Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing your knowledge of tax law, compliance, and non-profit taxation.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations (prior experience with Form 990 is a plus).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
